Course Description

Course Duration

  • 52 weeks (including term breaks)
  • 4 terms (10 weeks per term)

This course consists of 8 units of competency (3 core and 5 elective) delivered across a period of 52 weeks (including 12 weeks of term breaks). Students will complete 800 hours of structured learning (20 hours per week) and are expected to complete 400 hours of unsupervised study and assessment preparation (10 hours per week). The 40 weeks of learning are split into 4 terms of 10 weeks each, with each term covering 1-2 units of competency.

Course Entry Requirements

This course is available to those who are at least 18 years of age at course commencement. All international students must be proficient in English at a level of IELTs 6.0 or equivalent, with no skills band less than 5.5; OR having successfully completed a formal qualification at Diploma level or above within the last five years in Australia.

Students must have completed an Australian Bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent; OR Having successfully completed a qualification equivalent to Australian Advanced Diploma level (AQF Level 6) with providing evidence of relevant work experience (no less than 3 years working in the position of senior management or leadership within an organisation.

It is recommended that all students have the appropriate level of learning, reading, writing, language, oral communication, and numeracy skills, as well as proficiency in the use of computer-based technology.

Graduates of our Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) course will gain critical skills and knowledge to be able to perform in a variety of business managing roles. These could include:
